URoad-8000 分解

先日、MacBook Air 11-inch MC969JA/A を買ってしまったのですが、同時に勢いで買ったURoad-8000を分解しました。

このURoad-8000、WiMaxなWiFiルータでなかなか使えるのですが、モバイルルータだけあって、TCP/IPレベルで空いているポートは設定用80番のHTTPだけ。ちょっとつまらないわけです。

つまらないので、分解してみました。

おもて。

裏蓋をあけます。

バッテリーを取り外し、1.7mm星形トルクスドライバーで6カ所のねじを取り外します。

ケース上下が嵌まっていますが、カッターナイフなど薄くて硬いものを差し込めば、容易にケースの上下を分離できます。

部品一覧。

写真右下はボードから取り外したダイポールアンテナ。

WiMax用？WiFi用？

不明です。

取り外した基板。

上部にメンテナンス用コネクタが見えます。

でも分解したからって、何かができるってわけじゃあ。。。

ちなみに、スペックはこんなかんじ。

まだファーム的に802.11nには対応していなかったと思われますが、

メーカーサイトには2011/11新ファームリリース予定になっているからそろそろくるんですかね。
